- Check your child's Google Classroom for short videos to help with homework if needed.
- There is a tool Envision offers that many of you may not know about called BouncePages. It’s a unique way to help students review a lesson. A bounce page will allow you to pull up a video tutorial for a lesson in Envision to get an additional explanation. All you have to do is go to: bouncepages.savvasrealize.com, snap a photo of the lesson page, and then "Bounce" the page to life by clicking on the BouncePages program icon. See this flier for more information.
- Fact flashcards are always a great way to help your child succeed in math.
Reading:
- Students should read every night! Have them read, you read to them, read a book together taking turns reading. They should plan to take an AR test 2 times a week on a book at their AR level. You will send in an AR slip with the name of the book and the quiz number.
- Students will have a projects due during each trimester Look for directions to come from your teacher in their newsletter.
Domain:
- Tests sneak up quickly! We will include a link to a study guide prior to the test. Please help your child study.
Spelling:
- Your child will have a spelling test each week. We do not send home a list of words to memorize. We will send home a spelling rule for your child to work on. Red words, words they need to memorize, will also be included on the list of words. They will be working on this all week in class and will need to use the spelling rule on the spelling test on Friday.
